Enable an entirely new way of publishing and sharing 3D models with the all new 3D pdf converter. Models can be saved with selected object types and predefined view points and sections views. The PDF model can be viewed using the same Adobe Reader that just about everyone already has installed. Adjust the rotation, zoom, render mode, lighting, background color, and visibility of individual parts, using the standard Adobe Reader controls.

This presentation introduces the concepts and methods of analysis and design of cold-formed steel structures against blast and progressive collapse. The presentation focuses on the design requirements for cold-formed steel mid-rise construction and curtain wall framing in the Department of Defense projects per the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-010-01 and 4-023-03. The under-development ASCE Standard for Blast Protection of Buildings will be also discussed. A case study with computer analysis and design calculations will be presented.

The new Utility Hole Generator add-on module brings a new level of efficiency and accuracy to building fabrication. Use electrical and plumbing lines to send hole punching information directly to manufacturing equipment. Holes are generated in wood and steel framing, as well as, sheathing. The Utility Hole Generator, in conjunction with an NC link, allows the hole data to be sent to automated saws, steel stud roll formers, and sheathing routers.
