A Message from the President
“Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...It's about learning to dance in the rain.” Rose Eiff
At Argos Systems, we are ready to be your partner. Like most companies during these challenging economic times, we are managing our business closely. Downturns are not unusual in the building industry, but how we weather these storms and approach our business during these stormy times is dramatically different.
As you adapt to the current economic storm, call on us to evaluate how Argos and our solutions designed for the residential production builder, the framer and light gauge steel builder can help you not only weather the storm but be in a position of strength as the storm clouds subside. How? Certainly you are evaluating all expenses and likely determining where you can make more cuts. Call us to evaluate where you can reduce costs, improve cash flow and increase accuracy in your estimates and BOM, increase productivity with less staff and increase the efficiency of your overall business.
You decide – wait for the storm to pass, or take action and start dancing?
Sincerely,
John Vigilante President

Tips for Dancing in the Rain.
Leverage Argos Systems solutions to work through the rain clouds and get in a groove.
- Production builders - Do you offer several different manufacturers of windows and doors? Instead of going through your plan and changing each opening one-by-one, save time by swapping macro libraries with a click of the mouse. This will automatically change all your windows/doors to matching sizes of another manufacturer that you choose.
- Framers - Did you know you that you can add parametric macros to the project's floor plan drawing? Avoid spending time manually editing panel elevations by adding macros such as sheathing end points, extra backers, extra studs, beam pockets and more before generating panel breaks. These added framing rules will automatically be incorporated into the generated framing.
- Light Gauge Steel Builders - Did you know we are working closely with roll former manufacturers to develop and improve NC links between Vertex BD and manufacturing equipment. Roll forming technology has been advancing steadily in recent years, and has moved from simply rolling and cutting pieces to automatically adding additional tooling for piece connections and service holes at precise locations. This technology is proving to save on manufacturing labor, reduce assembly time, and help eliminate assembly errors. For these reasons, our link to the Howick roll former has become extremely popular in the UK, and is growing by leaps and bounds all over the world.
