Because it offers our clients the opportunity to work smarter and do more with less. Vertex BD v15 has been designed specifically to help our clients during these times.

Announcing Version 15!

Vertex BD v15 has been designed, for the most part, based on client input and feedback. We have expanded available functionality and improved capabilities to deliver big benefits within the base software.

Easier to use:

• Create your own toolbar(s) to organize functions you use the most for easier and quicker selection.
• A graphical user interface has been created for easier editing of set-up files. Look in one centralized location instead of searching thru numerous files to make the changes you need.

New functionality:

• Define global changes to doors, windows, opening trim, grille patterns, profiles, walls, floors, ceilings and roofs. Apply these changes to your project with a click of the mouse.
  • Change specific doors and windows to different styles/sizes
  • Change the style of certain opening trims
  • Change the grille type of a group of windows
  • Change a group of profiles to different styles/sizes
  • Change floor, ceiling and roof types
  If you have the Options module, you can link these component changes to specific options you have defined. The changes will then be applied to your model upon solving for the options.
• The copy function now has the ability to connect objects to other objects (i.e. copy windows and doors to other walls).
• Edit individual wall lines to produce professional 2D layouts and documentation.
• Working on a project that requires doors and windows not used in any other project? Create project specific door and window libraries to keep custom openings separate from your commonly used ones.
• The standard Vertex BD license now includes a mini version of the new Advanced Modeler. Use part models to create custom appliances, windows, doors, furniture, etc. The Advanced Modeler enables the easy and quick creation of models with curves, which before, could only be created with ADT programs. The full version of the Advanced Modeler is available as a separate add-on module.
