Training

Vertex BD is a robust and powerful application. In order to minimize the startup time for your fast paced work environment, we highly recommend proper training.

Our training program is administered by our expert software support engineers, the same people that will be available for support long after the training is complete.

> Training Schedule
Our training sessions are tailored to specific needs. We recommend 3 days of training for Vertex BD Framer or 5 days for Vertex BD Pro. Additional days are also recommended based upon the selected add-on software modules. Please provide at least 2 weeks advanced notice so we may try to accommodate your needs.

> Where to Learn
We offer on-site training as well as training at our facility in Bedford, MA. We recommend on-site training whenever possible. This will give our trainer a better overview of your business and computer systems, and how Vertex BD may be customized for your needs. However, based on the number of trainees and geographical location, you may find it more cost effective to have the training at our facility. We can also provide shorter 2 or 4 hour online training sessions for limited topics (not recommended for new users).

Support and Maintenance

You don't have to be on your own. Our Support and Maintenance program gives you direct access to our team of Software Support Engineers. As part of the Vertex Systems group of companies, our engineers work closely with the software developers and are able to research questions and issues quickly utilizing the Vertex BD source code. We provide support assistance via phone, email, and online web conferencing with GoToMeeting from Citrix Online. We also provide software updates and annual upgrades as part of this service.

As always, Vertex BD upgrades and upgrade services are FREE OF CHARGE for everyone actively participating in our Support and Maintenance program, including all software rentals!

Not on support? For a limited time, upgrades from version 14.0 and up may be purchased at 50% off the regular license price. Each upgraded license includes 1 hour of service for upgrading customized environments. If required, additional service time may be purchased at standard customization rates.

Implementation and Custom Development
